The companion role will involve casual and professional assistance for the client. The role could extend to support with lifestyle tasks including but not limited to shopping, driving, domestic tasks and preparation of medical needs. Companionship may also entail simply accompanying the client in their leisure time. The coordination of creation activities for social engagement and mental health provide the client an enhanced level of comfort and support. Strong interpersonal communication skills are required for the position, and basic medical care like CPR and knowledge of medication. Your elder care provider may work with your family full time, part time and you have the option of live in or live out care.
